Music teacher. Born in 1888 in Baird, Texas. Daughter of Robert Franklin Dunn, a pioneer Methodist minister and circuit rider in West Texas. Attended Switzer College for Girls and taught piano in Muskogee, Oklahoma, Matador, Texas, and Sweetwater, Texas. Moved to Lubbock, Texas, in 1922 to become director of the music department of Lubbock Public Schools. Opened a private studio for piano instruction in 1936.
